Quincy Carr was born in Houston, Tx. but raised in Austin. As a child, he was repeatedly told how funny, wild, crazy, and silly he was. In 1994, he graduated from Westwood High School and joined the U.S. Navy. After leaving the Navy, Quincy's comedy career began when a co-worker asked him to try out an open mic workshop at the historic Thoroughgood Inn Comedy Club (Virginia Beach, VA.)...and of course, he felt right at home on that stage.Since 1999, Quincy has moved from an average emcee in local comedy clubs, to featuring and headlining at "A" list comedy clubs, college campuses, churches, and corporate functions throughout the United States. He has worked with some of the top comics in the business, and opened for such comics as Bobcat Goldthwait, Sommore, Bruce Bruce and Ricky Smiley.
